About the Book:

The author refers more especially the history in part 1 and 2. In a short preface to part 3 which covers the pariod 1600-1610. His main authority referring to him as a man of ripe and judgement.<-p>

It was not possible to travel a long distance to attend the court of Akbar which was called as Akbarnamah, but the author has studied the same by all possible literatures, letter and documents. He has mentioned the movements of portuguese and West Indies. The movement prior to 1600 which includes the three missions to the court of Akbar were supplemented by the different authors.<-p>

The work of the author is the nature of indication of honourable parts of that time.<-p>

The account here reproduced of the mission to the court of Akbar is based on the letters of Akbar.<-p>

The author have compared the views and the decisions of Akbar and the Jesuits and it is very much negotiable in the study of judgement.<-p>
